Bundu Subdivision is an administrative subdivision of Ranchi district, Jharkhand, located in the South Chotanagpur Division. Its headquarters is Bundu. The subdivision is known for its forests, hills, waterfalls, rivers, tribal culture and scenic rural landscapes.
Geography
Bundu Subdivision lies in the southeastern part of Ranchi district and includes areas of the lower Ranchi Plateau, where elevations are generally lower than the main Ranchi Plateau. The region features hills, forests, valleys, agricultural land and rivers.
Important rivers and natural features associated with the area include the Subarnarekha and Kanchi rivers, along with several streams and forested hills.

Bundu is one of the two subdivisions of Ranchi district, the other being Ranchi Sadar Subdivision. The current Ranchi district administration lists four blocks under Bundu Subdivision.
